Took my boat to my local dealer for service and all was good, picked it up yesterday and batteries are drained. I charged one battery overnight an no change n status. I believe these are original batteries in my 12 Mojo. How often should I expect to change batteries?should I be looking for anything else?
No accs work, charger shows low charge on batteries.
Thanks in advance...

Should last through the warrenty period and less if they are defective or poorly maintained. Just like a car.

Hard to say, Normally they will last a couple seasons no problem. I have had some that are 4 years old in the ole LSV when I sold it.

Yours should be under warranty still, I know my dealer would replace my factory ones if they were bad.

I already upgraded batteries though.

For me I just make sure I shore charge them if I did a lot of sitting on the lake and before big weekend trips when I know I can't charge them.

...And remember to top them up occasionally during the winter. I try to get the batteries on the trickle charger for 1/2 day, once a month. I have lost a lot of summer batteries (boat, Jeep, motorcycle) by not doing some winter maintenance. Once I figured that out, they started lasting much longer.

Dealer told me the warranty was 1year, boat is almost 2.
The good news is I will have brand new batteries next week.

battery in the 03 lsv lasted over 5yrs for me
battery in he 08 lsv lasted over 5yrs for me
one of the two battery's in the 13 lsv has already been replaced,

think this a case of they don't make them like they used to

Finding someone that has two in stock is not easy, feel like I am involved in a treasure hunt
