Does anyone know how to remove the transducer? Mine is glued down. no screws or caps to be removed.

If glued in place it is likely permanent.

Smack it with a hammer. Hopefully it will break loose.

Slide a flat bar underneath and tap with a hammer to break the epoxy loose. Why the heck would you mess with it?

Because I want to break something else in the boat because I am board. hahah no it is broken and only displaying "---". From reading the forms it looks like it is dead and needs replaced. but step one is to get it out.

I would cut the wire and remove the wire. Place a new transducer somewhere else.
The epoxy bond may bring fiberglass with it if removed.

That might be the best idea. Or I can leave the wire connected and in about 2 years go "What is that and were does that wire go?"
Now time to find a new depth finder setup.

Plus there wouldn't be a smooth surface to glue a new one down.

Let us know what you figure out and how you get it going/replaced. I've had the same problem with mine for a year or so. Just reads --.
