My boat is a 2000 Moomba Kamberra, with the stock trailer as far as I know. It has hydraulic brakes that activate when the boat pushes on the tongue. There USED to be a little flat piece of metal that blocked the pin from moving so you could back it up a hill. Well, it was on a key-ring of sorts, and wasnt' there when we went to the lake last weekend... Any idea what its called or where to find it? I don't even have a picture since its gone now...

Damn it Drew you beat me to it!

Boatmateparts.com has it as well, https://www.boatmateparts.com/product_details.php?itmId=7 although I am guessing your trailer and tongue is different than mine after viewing the link Drew provided.

i lost mine as well and picked it up from a boat dealer for 4 bucks so i could use boat same day. you might want to call some marine shops if you have any around if you don't want to wait for shipping.

No reverse light solenoid on the trailer to let you backup?

I have found a Nut works well. When we goto Lake Billy, I just tape a Nut in place, then at the end of the weekend I remove it.

Got it on the way! thanks guys. This magnetic one will sure be nice. Can't tell you how many times I put it in only to not be able to back up again cuz it fell out...

I dont' have to back uphill often at all anymore, since we moved and now have a flat driveway. BUT, I do NOT want to be at a launch or roadside or parkinglot somewhere that I would need it and not have it.
