Hey guys do you know if there is a way to increase the spring tension for the fold assist. Now that I got the 3 some on the tower it is heavy.

Haha I wish it was that easy. To lift it and thread in the locking pins really sucks.

Don't lower it?

(hehehe - I'm with C&S - sorry!)

in an effort to help you out mark, mount the 3some on my tower and whenever you are close, I'll turn it up for you. best of both worlds. you hear the tunes and don't have to be bothered with the weight on the tower...

I'll be over tonight to pick it up.

Don't worry Mark, I'm with you, I need to know the answer to this question also. Ask FF, I briefly asked this question and it sounded like there was a spring that could be tightened in the gunnel area. Problem is that the spring assist doesn't seem to do much in the raised position, mostly helps hold the tower as it nears the dash level. I'm thinking I might need a rope from the tower tow point to the ski pylon to hold it while turning in the knobs.

You expect us to just take your word on that?

Sounds awkward. How many times did you fall off getting the 3 some going up there?

Is that video going to be NSFW and include this 3some of yours? :)

Since you guys were a ton of help with this and I lost alot of sleep over it I finally figured out a solution. The problem wasn't lifting the tower it was holding it up while tightening the bolts. I happened to stumble across an old load lock at work and I cut that down. It works great, I don't have anything attached the garage ect.
