I sell this prop because I would like the ACME 2079. The lake is about 400m altitude and when we are 10 or more pepole onboard with full ballasts (~3500lbs), it looks that a prop with less pitch would be better

Good luck on the sale. I have the 2079 and love it!

How many more RPMs are you turning with the 2079 versus the 1235?
Mojo (345hp), 1235, 80% front, 60% rear, and 4 adults, I turn about 3.1K at 22 mph.

2079 will do the job pretty well, you do have to understand you are running several tons of weight.
3300lbs ballast and 2K plus in people makes 5300+4K for the boat.

In any case you are maxing out your engine at some point.

I personally havn't tried to run my ballast full as I have 4500lbs and people. I will tell you with 4500+ 6 people I cant go over 15mph with the 350 surf engine.

When you run a crew 10 deep, you will have to sacrifice some ballast in order to get the boat up on plane.

We ran 10 the other day and surfing with 3K I had no issues getting to Surf speed 11-12 but if you want to get up past 18 to level the boat for wake boarding you might have a harder time. You might find yourself moving people to the front at launch and then moving back to the rear when at speed.
