Hey all. Been lurking since I joined up a couple months ago when I bought a '14 Mondo. First inboard. Just got the boat last week and finished break in this weekend. Tried surfing a couple times. Coming from an I/O we have never had anything to do with surfing before and it looks like it's going to be a lot of trial and error to get things set up. Have read quite a few threads on the topic and I think I have a pretty good idea of where to start. Looks to be a lot of great folks and info here. Really wanting to get after ballast upgrades and had seen on other posts that there is a discount code for Wakemakers for forum members. Wondering if I could get the code?

Here's a couple of pics I have so far. Terrible pics but any time it's nice enough to get pictures, I've been more concerned with getting her in the water. Will post better ones when I get some.

Thanks guys. Irish-Love the boat so far. Quite a step up from what I had before. Have roughly 15 hrs on it so far and only issue is the wake plate self adjusting. I see a few here have been having this same issue. Hope to get that straightened out shortly.

I ordered a Mondo and it should be here within a week...Hopefully the wake plate issue isn't too big an issue.

The wake plate is designed to self adjust. The owners manual says nothing about it. Search for my wake plate thread for the 2014's. It explains everything.

Yes, the other thread is on '13 Moomba's self adjusting in a non-desirable way. The 14's should self adjust but in a planned and desirable way.

Ah... I missed that thread. I even said to my wife that it almost seemed like it was doing it when you'd want it to and the adjustments kind of "made sense". But I figured if it was a feature of the wakeplate system that the dealer would have told me about it. Guess not. Thanks a ton for showing me this.

That silver flake looks awesome! My wife said the flake is a must when we order our next boat.
