Has anyone upgraded to the snap out carpet? Would it fit an 08 LSV?

I would like to know as we'll. Currently air drying gallons on water out of my carpet from the long weekend.

Unfortunately the snap out carpet is the easy part. What you do with the unfinished fiberglass under the existing carpet is the issue.

Good point. I might just rip out all the carpet people don't stand on like under the seats and rear lockers and spray in some bed liner. Still don't understand why there's carpet there. Looks? To keep stuff from sliding around?Dont know.

There is some sound dampening. Might want to consider a cheapo padded flooring replacement for in the lockers and under the seats so you get some sound dampening. These are easy to work with. I put ones kind of like this in my rear lockers:

Moomba obviosly thought the same thing since the new boats haven't had that in a couple of years

Bedliner in my lockers has been great. At some point I will probably bite the bullet and go carpet free.

How much sound damping does the carpet give. With the stereo on :p

not sure on sound, but could use hydroturf all around.

Have any pics of this? I really want to remove the carpet out of my rear lockers, it's just a mildew haven.

Thank you! Add this to the list.

Is there a shelf/drop off where the carpet meets the bed liner in your pics? Or are my eyes deceiving me.

Yep, the lockers are an inch lower than the under seat storage area so it makes the transition easy. Good luck - I think you will be happy.

I just pulled the carpet today, left the 3 or so inches after the wall until I get a chance to pull all of that as I ran out of time. Haven't decided if I am going that hydro turf route or the stuff from lowes/HD. The glue was a bit of a pain but not bad. Or maybe spray the truck bed liner in there or just do that on the walls? Not sure just yet but thankfully that nasty carpet is out.

BR what was the prep you had to do for the Herculiner? You rolled it? Would spray work?

I cleaned the glue off with acetone and a razor scraper, and scuffed it up a bit before rolling it on. Yes, I think spraying would work fine too if you did more masking.

This is what I did and I love it. So easy to clean/dry the lockers after a day on the lake, highly recommended:)
