The local Skier's dealer offered me a pretty good deal on a SC and a good price for my XLV. Oddly enough my wife seems to be on board.

The proposition is so tempting but I am emotionally attached to my XLV.

Someone talk some sense into me before I put a big hole in my wallet.

I'm in a similar situation. The dealership where my XLV is has a new Mondo that they are trying to talk me into. Good luck with your decision.

You do that and it's a done deal;) Tough decision for sure but if you love the xlv stick with it and save yourself some money for down the road. Just my 2 cents.

Is the size difference not an issue?

I agree, test drive and it's done.

I got to test an SC last Friday and If the dealer was not an hour and 20 minutes away my boat would be there getting priced and they just sold the SC in stock. but if the new one has orange on it I will be in trouble.
The SC was awesome and I keep telling myself one more season before a new boat.

You could always secretly tell them that you might want that new one coming in to have some orange....they usually listen when a customer says that lol

Tough choice. Is your current boat almost paid off? That's what I would be weighing. Boat payments suck. I'll be holding onto my 21V for a long time. I'd love to drive in and ride an SC though.

Mine been paid for, for a couple of years. All I got is a house payment and trying to keep it that way. If I can get by till next season and get a decent price out of mine I should be able to get the new one with out a loan.

They know exactly what I want and if they are smart that is what they ordered on the new one.

We talked about this yesterday bro, but honestly unless he is going to give it to you for the price you want. You should wait till next year and order the one you really want. Even ordering one you are going to pay pretty close to what he is already offering you.

Then you get the color combo you want.
