View Full Version : Choice between 2012 Mojo 2.5 or 2013 Mobius LSV

I have the option to purchase the following boats and I need help weighing the pros/cons. Both offer different addons/upgrades to the standard features/specs. Both are single owners, low hours (~1-2 seasons usage).

2012 Mojo 2.5: (addons/upgrades)

- Indmar 345 HP Catalytic 5.7 MPI surf edition (upgraded)
- Gravity III Ballast System (upgraded)
- 1000 lb fly high ballast bags for rear ski lockers (addon)

- 650 pound ballast bag in the bow (addon)
- 750 pound bag in the rear port locker (addon)
- Swivel Wakeboard racks (addon)
- Bimini (addon)
- 2 Wetsounds Rev 10 tower speakers (addon)
- syn2 700w amplifier (addon)
- Wetsounds HT-AS10 500w sub (addon)
- Standard Mobius single axle trailer
- Including Ronix Wakeboard/bindings, LiquidForce Wakesurf board, Lines, Life Jackets, Tube electric pump, Tube.


Any help deciding would be appreciated.

lake size, # of peeps normally in boat, boat storage location would be the decision factors

Pictures, gel patterns and color options, some of the original 2012 color combos were dreadful....

I would have a hard time not going with the Mojo, especially with the surf motor

All other things being equal with the above mentioned (colors, appearance, taken care of, etc..) If I had to choose based on information provided, it would be the Mojo.

Upgraded Engine
Tandem axle
imo...The bow seems smaller with the redesign of the LSV.

I just bought an identical 12 Mojo, fantastic boat. Mojo is my choice.

for me, mojo would be a no brainer. if color was not right, then I'd hold out for a different one for sale.

What do you plan to do with the boat? That should be part of the choice.

I would lean for the Mojo simply for the space and the upgraded engine.

Mojo all day. I do believe however the warranty changed somewhat between 12 and 13. Might want to look into that.
