It's BACK !

I posted about this right as the board went bye-bye. There are a buch of really great videos on there with breakdown of each trick and slow motion playback - very cool. Good to see the Supra board sharing the coolness.

Are you selecting a rider and trick from the top or trying to download the ipod videos at the bottom ? (those are still not working)

That will be a cool addition to have ipod video downloadables...
I have the dvd set of the book and it is by far the best for getting step by step learning but for free the vids in the trick room are awesome

I'll second "The Book" as a geat resource. Its worth buying the complete set at one time to save $$$.

For our youth outings this year, as they wait for us to get the caravan loaded to run to the lake, going to play the beginner dvd for them. That way when they get to the water, those that have never been out, will have been able to actually see deep water starts for themselves. Ground school on the beach will be shorter. And will have riders up and enjoying the day much faster.

I keep "The book" and a portable DVD player in the boat!
Use a FM tuner off the dvd player and you can pump the sound through the boat speakers.
This is also fun for comedy nights, Lewis Black, Ron White Etc....

I also carry Waketrix and Higher Education both very good resources!

That is a great idea about haveing the portable dvd player in the boat. Im sure you could also use it to preview your own (soon to be) pro vids that you make yourself

Bought an Air Tracker so I can drive and shoot video of my daughter at the same time. *grin* Got to build a remote cable for the pause/record on the handicam though.

Trying to remember where I got mine from.
Think it was from Skilimited.com (now owned by Overton's)

Boardco.com:

(I can't tell the difference between their 2 tower trakkers pro/standard)

Link to some information I posted on shooting video from boats:

I think my sample has been removed from the kids site though.

What I need to wire is a LANC controller for the camera. As it is now, I have to push da red button before a run and have to adjust the zoom/WD before the run. I'd like a button on the dash but will require some microcontroller programming. Probably a winter project to come.
