Just wondering if anyone has installed the flow on an LSV and how well it works.

I'd like to know the answer to this as well...$1200 plus install seems pretty hefty to save myself waiting a few minutes for the ballast to fill.

I personally would probably pay for the dealer to install and I'm assuming the mod would be about $2k all said and done in that case...in general I trust myself with many modifications to my belongings, but bolting something through my boat hull may be a different story!

It shouldn't cost more then a couple hours labor. 3-500 tops.

What I found is I can run smaller bags in the rear, saving me room but essentially you are running more weight because you fill both sides on Reg now.

Regular is insane good.

As for Goofy we are still working on it but its improving it and giving it it more length.

Mind you I'm talking Mojo,

I had a solid wave on my LSV both sides, and if the Flow works as I have seen on my Mojo then you will be happy and should be able to run just 1100s in the rear with center and IBS and have a great wave.

On my LSV I was running essentially 1500 rears.

mmandley,

What was your setup for the LSV?

Right now I've got IBS, Center, 1100 Rear and 400 under port seats. I haven't been on the water yet to test it.. :)

Nothing under the port seat? Maybe I should re-purpose that pump for an xlink?

I found running a bag under the port was pushing the fiberglass out from it's original spot. I was worried with the bag and peopleit would damage the section.

Can you expand on this a little? I'm currently running a 400 where the cooler used to be (2010 LSV) and I want to know what to look for.

I have the same question as TL7. Running a bag under the spot where the cooler used to be as well. It's on a 2011 LSV.

I believe I recall a picture from another thread where this was discussed and it was the bag pushed out the fiberglass (noticeably) so it was worrying. Guess if you have a bag that when filled wont push on the fiberglass, you should be OK.

I'm running a bag under the seat as well, however I haven't seen any movement. My boat has L brackets from the factory that brace that section. Forgetting to turn the pump off as it lifts everyone up and freaks them out is a different matter...

mmandley, what speeds where you running?

Regular I want to say 10.5 to 11 mostly. I had no brackets when I cut the cooler out of mine. Not sure why but thats why mine began to bow outwards towards the center of the boat. I stopped using the bag under the seats because I was afraid it would spider crack the fiberglass.

I was hoping there would be an answer to the original question....has anyone used it on an '08 or similar hull?

Naw..

Probably better to do a ghetto gate, cheaper, probably better than the flow..
