Hey guys,

live in Indiana and looking for some suggestions on a fun place to take a week and go on vacation with some friends this summer. We are around 21-25 years old. Went on a houseboat trip last year at dale hollow but not looking to spend that kind of cash again. Probably be around 5-10 people.

Any suggestion would be great, thanks!

If you want a bit of a drive Beaver Lake in NW Arkasas is beautiful and glass on most days. Prices are reasonable to cheap to rent a house, and most have a dock you can park in. Some are covered others aren't.

Would've said dale hollow, but since that's not in your plans have you thought about ozarks? It's about 7.5 hr drive from Indy and plenty of night life in addition to all the boating. If that's something of interest

If you want to stay in Indiana you could try a floating house on Patoka Lake or a houseboat they rent both then at night hop over to French Lick and try your luck at the casinos, never done it personally but have had a neighbor that keeps his boat at a slip there all season and swears buy it,calls it a mini dale hollow.

I have been to Lake Ouachita in Hot Springs Arkansas. Is a Beautiful lake. Plenty of camping on the islands or house/cabin rentals nearby.
Looking at Lake powell videos on youtube. Awesome looking lake But, Its currently at a 123.48 ft LOW!! 39.65% of full pool. Dang that low!!!!
