Ski pylon removal on mojo 2013

I was wondering if there is a way to remove the ski pylon on the back deck of my mojo. We never use it and it is always up in the way. Thanks

I believe there was some discussion on another thread and there is a bolt and Allen head screw that allow for removal

The new 14's are retractable. Maybe you can retrofit one onto your 13.
