Don't think there has been one yet. What do you guys think of something on the Ohio River or a TVA lake? I'm open to most weekends and we will be at Norris Lake June 28th - July 5th. If we want to have it that week.

Great idea! Every one of these starts with 1 guy or a couple of guys who would like to see it happen. They grow from there. More power to you!!!

Might have to jump in on this. Depending on the dates, but we are at the lake must weekends so...... let me know. But if you pick the OH River I'd say we are out, my wife holds her breath, closes her eye, and swears she'd never get in that water every Friday night as we cross headed south.

Aren't all of those locations basically in Texas? Might as well join the Texas Jam!

Ha!

I'm a regular on Brookville Lake; about an hour NW of cincy. Much much smaller than Norris, Cumberland etc but nice lake with idle speed only areas to swim; lots of houseboat raftups on the weekends. the main water gets very busy on the weekends. it has 3 marinas, Kent's harbor has a gas dock/restaurant/bar. also there are some very nice campgrounds.

Brookville might work.

Or if you guys are interested you can come help us at Wake the World Ohio in Columbus on June 23rd. Sorry for the late notice spring flew by.

Currently SC will have the boat boats there with 3.

Moved to Florence, Ky in May 2003 after retiring from Air Force and used to go to Brookville Reservoir a lot; then someone told me about Cave Run Lake and it's an awesome lake! We try to go every weekend or at least I try to go every weekend. If you've never heard of it or been there, it's about 8200 acres and usually not too busy on the weekends with great water quality; weekdays we've been there and pretty much had the whole lake to ourselves. Here's a link to the lake...We're headed down this Saturday and use the Alfrey Boat Ramp. Maybe we'll see you there ...
