jury duty...

sooo i have been call upon by the great state of NY (HHAAAA) to do jury duty. it starts tomorrow(20th) but i was told to call back tomorrow since i was not picked..anyone else do it yet or no?.. i dont want to do it haha

I have been on standby for jury duty all week. I have to check daily to see if I am needed. Sure hope that they don't need me. I have work to do.

I had it in ohio last year when I lived there. It was the same thing, 50 people would show up, they would pick 8 or something like that and the rest had to come in the next day... Same thing the next day. This went on for a month and a half. There were a couple people that didn't show or call to see if you had to come in and they made it se like they were going to go after them. That is why you see all of these people with these TERRIBLE excuses why they can't be there, everything from they're sick, worked last night, or they think the party is guilty already for some dumb reason. It's ridiculous that they can keep people on the hook for so long, like we don't have work or other thugs going on... Off soap box haha

Just look the judge straight in the eye and say, "I would make a great member to the jury, because I can tell when somebody is guilty (while doing a finger snap) just like that!"

I got selected for jury duty when I was 20. I showed up in t shirt and dirty jeans. They asked me a bunch of questions I answered with stupid smart arse remarks and even told them I hated people. They still chose me. I sat through 3 days of crap. It was the most boring thing I have had to sit through.
