I've gotten to know many of you guys over the years so I thought I'd share a quick video I made yesterday in Beijing. I'm over in china for a few weeks with my daughter on an immersion program. My girl is the little blue eyed gem thats getting WAY to much attention. She's the first one to paint calligraphy. As popular as Beijing is to the western world, we are seeing very few westerners on the trip. It's amazing how these local people invited our kids (in blue) to play games and dance with them.... super cool local people!

It's been wild to watch her classmates and her use their Chinese skills. enjoy!

one more tidbit for you all. had lunch today and fresh scorpions where on the menu.... eh? I couldn't resist. I put one on my plate for reference. Tasty lil things :)

Wow. She can really speak it. Very cool. Keep the Scorps though unless they are playing over some Exile speakers!

I see the Malaysian flight had some of China's leading calligraphy artists on it coming back from a conference. Sad.

Hope you're enjoying the trip Brian. The pearl market is quite the experience if you can make that happen. I always come back with some nice pearls for the wife and some know off sunglasses :)

Was the scorpion still moving? When we were there last year that was what really freaked me out. The one's on the stick that were still moving. They "said" it was for the tourists....
