Just when goofing around after wakeboarding. It eliminates the wicked faceplants which is nice...

I just found this on craigslist I'm thinking about trying out, for $60 maybe $50 would be good to try out.

I rode one last year for the first time. it was different and had a good time on it. steep learning curve to get up. took a few times but like surfing, once you get it, you have it. I plan on doing some more riding on one this year. don't think I'll ever be jumping or doing tricks but it was fun to goof around on.

I taught my youngest son and daughter how to get up on a board using an old wakeskate in the pool. Once they practiced it about 20x with their older sister pulling the rope they were ready to try behind the boat. Both transitioned to the wakeboard very easily after that. Not having their feet locked in seemed to make it easier on them.

Rode one last year for the first time when I "test drove" my boat and really liked it. Picked up a brand new Ronix wake karver for like $80 off EVO.com

It is a lot of fun. Can't wait to try it more this summer.

I love screwing around on it. I use it to help with my switch riding which sucks. I almost went W2W but the board didn't want to stay with me. I give the pro's mad props that can ride. It take an insane amount of talent.

I got a new left over 12 last winter, tried to get up a few times and wasn't able to get it going.

I first tried it summer of 12 on a pro board and was able to get up after a lot of work LOL. I liked the freedom on no board when I ate it. LOL

I will be working on it more this summer. I wake board every few outtings just to know I can do it but I have had so many wicked face plants when working on WTW I can feel myself holding back and not charging and then I fail anyhow.

rode behind my boat on it and behind a basic io with no tower. amazing how much easier it is with a tower to help pull..
