seen that video a few times but never done it. We are going to Powell next summer with a bunch of families and one guy has said he is going to rent one and bring it down. I hope he does, looks really fun.

I did this back in high school at young life camp, would so love to do again. Last week on TV I seen someone jump a wave runner onto the blob. Might have been a Jack... clip or Nitro Circus the kids had the remote.

Hmm... It's OK to jump off of legally?! We have one on Allatoona, but it's the YMCA's and we have to go in at 1 am with the lights off and no radio playing to jump. :wink:

the blob on Sinclair is privately owned and when it's out on the lake, they allow all to jump and/or be shot into the air. It wasn't out much this year and my neighbor and I have talked about seeing if they would sell it to us. My kids think that is a FANTASTIC idea, but my wife, not so much.

I like my kids idea, too! Been looking at buying a surplus, collapsible fuel cell to use as a blob at 1/2 the price.

I've done it before at a family church camp. I think I got launched probably 15 to 20 feet in the air. There was a BIG heavy kid at the camp that day and he became really popular. It was his moment to shine. But he sure got tired climbing up the ladder to the platform...

Way Cool. I'm kinda thinking wakesurf speed would actually be better as these guys were right in front of our sailboat and we definitely were not going WB speed.

Getting knocked off the surf by one (or 4) might be a little nerve wracking...
