Anyone have a 3 or 4 person tube laying around that they'd like to sell? I haven't been too impressed with the options that are out there for buying new. I'd like to get our kids started behind the boat in a nice sitting up tube then progress towards skiing/wakeboarding.

The chariot warbird is a great tube for what your wanting to do,it comes in 2-3 person but you can put several small kids on it and it is very stable

Do you have a Costco in your area? Usually around late spring / early summer they have some impossible to beat deals on HO 3 or 4 person tubes that often include a rope.

We destroy a tube every year or two. I've tried others and they don't fair too well compared to the Costco one. Good luck!

No Costco just a Sam's Club... :( Does that chariot look similar to the great big mable? (also goes by some other names)

+1 on Costco. We bought ours from Costco and used it for a probably 4 months and then it sprung a leak so I took it back and they refunded it without any questions. We are pretty hard on our tubes, but we will get another next spring and hopefully it will last longer. The only thing I don't like about the one they had was it was a 4 man tube and it is really big and takes a long time to fill up.

And is a PITA to roll up and store in a compartment when not in use! Keep that in mind.

If you have the ability to do so, use a lawn blower to fill up the tube. The nozzle from my Stihl backpack blower fits perfectly in the depression where the valve is for the tube. Unscrew the plug, shove the blower on and in 30 secs the tube is filled.

not me . . . .

I think Stacy first showed me that with an air mattress & a handheld, electric blower. I just couldn't leave well enough alone and had to bust out the backpack blower. :)

I bet I get some strange looks throwing the leaf blower in the boat when we head to the lake:)

It'll tax your power inverter too. I prefer making the kids all turn purple from blowing it up. Then they quit asking to tube all the time. Plan works to perfection.

I like the way you think...

I gave my 3 seater to my cousin. Let him tow kids around. When my kids were young, I would make them ski, wakeboard and then they could go tubing.

I bought a WOW 4 person tube 2 years ago at Sam's. Was normally like $150, I got the last one and had a big tear in the box so they gave it to me for $75. It's an awesome tube. Kids can sit in the middle and it's nearly unflippable because the 4 "wings" are angled up. We put like 4 or 5 kids in the middle. We've even had 4 adults on it and it's wild. It's the best tube we've ever had. I just use a regular cigarette lighter inflator and it's fills pretty quick, 2 chambers. Here's the same one on ebay:

my two 2 person tubes are sitting in a friends garage, he has not asked to bring them back and I have not asked for them back, but I know at some point this next summer my daughter and her friends will want them

I've got a Straightline 2-3 person that's like the Big Mable. Really, it's a towable sofa. Used it a couple of times, mostly to float around the cove. Too big to store in my space-challenged Comp. Let me know if youre interested.

I ended up finding a similar tube new on overton's - they finally dropped the price to what I was willing to pay. (Funny how it's cheaper now than it was over black friday/xmas/new years)
