Wow, I'll try one. Going to replace mine for the spring, since I don't know when it was last done. $12 cheaper than buying a regular one at my local marina, might as well!

Yes, we love globe impellers. I brought these up a long time ago and was mocked for spending so much, but I'm still a believer. Money well spent IMO.

Thanks for posting this. This choice would have saved me a time and expense earlier this year when an intake got clogged.

On another forum, some people have commented that those impellers don't provide the same suction/pressure and volume as "regular" impellers. I have no other information. One thing about the impeller, it is a crucial part of the cooling system.
