Finally pulled the trigger and stepped up to the world of full size trucks. Introducing my new 2013 Tundra. Wife was pushing for something bigger than the taco so I went shopping. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/12/a4a6a2ez.jpghttp://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/12/ysarudyq.jpg Keep an eye out next season as we will be pulling the boat around much more. Coming to a lake near you..lanier, allatoona, Gaston are all on the docket.

Agreed, you will definitely enjoy the power and performance of the Tundra, did you get it in 4x4 and did you consider the Crewmax?

it is 4x4. I did look at the crew max but didn't need the extra interior space at expense of bed. Also felt like it drive different. Sure that was in my head. The 300 extra pounds shouldn't have caused it.

Did you get a good deal due to the '14 just launching? Maybe they didn't even have any yet at your dealer. Congrats, I personally hope you enjoy the interior lol! What trim is it?

That sounded kind of like I was knocking your truck as I read it back, which it wasn't meant lol! What I meant is I love buying the current model of a vehicle when the new one is about to launch because I have received great deals that way before. Plus the new Tundra is just a facelift.

The extra interior space for me was a matter of comfort and for future planning....kids. It seemed to me that changing a diaper in the back of a Crewmax made for more comfort than the Double Cab, but that's just me. Either way you will enjoy the heck out of the truck and what it brings you. Congrats again!!!

It's a sr5 trim, with tow package, factory tint, heated side mirrors, spray in bed liner, bed rail system, backup camera. Did get a smoking deal? Better rate than had on taco and payments are lower too. Had a lot of equity in old one so that helped. End of month and new model year arriving also helped negotiations.

Congrats Jay on the new Tundra! Welcome to the club! I have an '08. I cannot wait for it to be paid off. They are great trucks and it will tow your moomba very well.
