It seems like there's a handful of you guys from Texas...I go to San Antonio relatively often for work and would love to come ride with somebody down there. Anybody relatively close to SA? I'll be down there again in a couple weeks.

We occasionally make it to Canyon Lake, but not regularly. We are closer to Houston. Lots of really low or dried up lakes near San Antonio. In fact I'm not sure if there will be any ramps open at Canyon very soon unless they get some rain. I heard the upper Guadalupe River that feeds Canyon had completely dried up.

I'm going to bump this one up. I'll be flying in to San Antonio Sunday night. I have a busy schedule and unfortunately I'm flying back out Thursday morning. Anybody going to be riding one of those evenings anywhere near SA and wouldn't mind a tag-along?

I'm 2.5 hrs west of SanAn and if they've had any of the same weather I'm getting it sucks! Been raining here everyday, all day, for a week! Highs in the low 80s, lows in the 60s! Sure hope it heats back up after this stuff moves outta here! I'm not ready to call it a year just yet...

Lows in the 60s? It's 65 and partly cloudy right now, been raining lightly on and off, and it's beautiful surfing weather to me! Lol. About as good as we get this time of year.

From the pictures you post it looks like you need that rain! I didn't mind the rain in Houston and Dallas, I wasn't able to be on the water this weekend anyways so I was happy the ground was getting its thirst quenched

Yea we most definitely needed the rain! Everybody around here was happy. Long, slow days of constant rain just depress me haha it's all good tho, it cleared outta here yesterday and the water was like glass so we hit it hard like it was the first day of summer haha

I drove to Nebraska Friday and got rained on all the way to OKC, then Sunday on the way home we did not see a single cloud from Nebraska to Houston. Not one.

Of we're not in the woods trying to kill something we should be out. Touch base with me as it gets closer.
