Sold my 2003 Chaparral 220 SSI dual prop and picked up a 2003 Outback direct drive earlier this summer. Got bit by the wake surfing bug so I sold my DD and found a 2002 Outback LSV. Been working on her for over a month - cleaning, wet sanding, buffing, polishing, engine work and all new graphics....Added the following ballast - 1,100 rear locker, 400 under passenger rear seat, 750 under passenger bow cushion/spotter seat, 400 ski locker. Throws a great wake! Looking to upgrade to through hull mounted pumps this fall.

Here she is!

Good looking boat. Outback LSV has no tower. Don't see all that many of them.

A tower is on my list....I love the illusion/V2 tower but I'm thinking that is going to break the budget.... :( I bet that tower is $3k+. I was looking at the new dimensions original tower or the Indy tower. I want anodized aluminum so I'm not polishing it all the time....

I fairly new to the boards but I'm loving reading about everyone's mods and experience! Love this forum.

I'll get wake pics this weekend! Thx for feedback everyone! Anyone else located in the Northeast?

Who did the decals? And if you don't mind how much?

Stay awesome!

Mjr,

Nice looking boat, had the same hull on the obv 07 , now have the xlv . Couple of of here in central ny, if you qualify that as northeast. A few in eastern PA as well.

Did you say you put a 750 behind the potter seat?. Whoa!

Great mods and welcome to the forum

I did the decals. :) never did them before but did some research online and found out the wet install worked great. The cost of the decals was very reasonable, around a few hundred dollars for everything - 2 large Moomba decals, 2 LSV decals, and 1 Moomba decal for the stern.

I think it updates the boat nicely. Now I can't wait to add a tower!

Let me know if you have any questions.

Mark

Take a look at Samsons towers, I think the Reverse arch (http://samsonsports.com/wakeboard-towers/reverse-arch-wakeboard-towers/) looks great and is just under $2k, and is US made!

Sharp looking boat, Keep it up and keep the photos (and upgrades!) coming!
