saw this post:

for a smaller boat sitting on a single axle, the freeboard looks huge and the couple interior shots, especially of the bow look like there is a TON of room for ballast under the seats..

interesting to see some shots of this thing surfing with someone that has really sacked it out..

I won't lie...I'm not digging the graphics on some of these mondo pics I've seen. This is my least favorite so far. Too retro for me. Reminds me of an old school Boss Mustang lol.

I agree with the graphics comment and I am reserving judgement still. Freeboard is deep but it hasn't grown on me yet. I don't like that tower. Maybe seeing it in person would change my mind (minus the graphics).

Well, i guess i'm different... haha. I love the looks of that boat. Only thing i would possibly change would be to make the tower black.

I can say for the few pics I've seen of the mondo's this one is not my favorite. not digging the red, but looking past that, the freeboard is huge and interested to see what size sacks that boat will hold with no visible bags on seats. seatbases have quite a bit of height to them. of course don't know what else is stuffed under them such as dividers, batteries, coolers and the such, but initially looks like it'll handle a lot of weight.

Drew, do tell. There was a rumor in another thread, that you might have already surfed a Mondo. Well, what did you think?

What is the wake (wakeboarding) and wave (surfing) comparable to? Is it closer in comparison to the Outback V or closer to the Mojo? I'm waiting for a local dealer to get one in stock so I can check it out.

mojo due to depth of lockers, resulting weight you can stuff in there and hull design

Thats more like it, that is sharp, never owned a yellow boat but they always look great on the water,In that scheme my favorite so far is the Mojo that you did in the photo shoot, white, black, lime green, that boat pops, thinking of selling the 13 LSV for that same Mojo or a SA 350 all we do is surf a few still like to do open water rec ski time to time, unless i missed it i dont ever think anybody has said anything about the ski wake behind a Mojo? I have a demo set up next week for both boats and i am rooting for the Mojo to be everything i need to save some coin and a marrige HaHA just kidding, very fortunate to have a wife on board with a nother new boat.

not a fan of yellow, but I like it. def. looks 100% better than the color scheme at the first post.

a skiing roo on the black piece toward the ass end would complete that boat :)

That color scheme gives me a "back in the day" memory....Yamaha. I do like it.

Lol Yamaha, so true. Reminds me of my 1978 YZ125 I bought for $50 when I was 15.

It wasn't the color scheme, I prefer the red and white one over the yellow personally, I just don't like the design. I know retro is in, but that's way too retro for me.
