Not sure what you call it, maybe its a 360? ANyway I told my 9 YO son to try it and he landed it. He was riding his wakeboard and he reached around with his back hand, grabbed the handle then spun around. He got it his first try. We are very proud.

I'm assuming not in the air, hence the question? I'd call it a flat water 360 if so. Good for him! Won't be long he'll get it w2w. Can he clear w2w?

He really has not tried to jump. Says he is happy just playing around and riding. I think he is scared of not landing and hitting hard.

You should get him "The Book" DVD set and have him watch from beginning to end. Excellent learning tool. I'm sure he'll love it, and it will probably get him psyched to learn to jump the wake!
