Who's headed out thus weekend? I know we will be at Joe pool in the morning, then possibly heading to eagle mountain for the tie up there.

Yeah Chawk what ramp do you use for GV? Dove loop? We considered going out tonight for the fireworks, but I don't really think I want to mess with it.

I'll be on LV in a couple of hours and then Sat & Sun

How is the Brazos? Is it anywhere near as nice as the Trinity is down at Bethy?

Very similar, the difference is there is not as much rideable length, also the Brazos is generally 10-20 feet in depth whereas the trinity from what I remember was more like 20-40. Both sections of the Brazos are pretty low right now though.

doubt I want to go there on my own, I'll stick to the coves and shoreline at Joe Pool.

I would have figured Dove Lane would be closed also.

How about Katie's Woods?

Free ramp on north side of lake is closed, and Twin Coves ramp should be... :(

I was hoping a north ramp would be open so I didn't have to drive around. USACE says all but Dove Loop & Katie Woods are closed. I bet Silver Lake is open, but I hate that ramp

I haven't been able to use the ramp off Catfish Ln. in over a month, at least without going to the dock. I had to bury the Suburban to get the boat off. Cant get close to that dock so the wife had to swim out.

Ive been going to Lewisville. Last Sunday almost the entire lake was completely calm until after 5pm. Ill be out there again this Sunday, probably messing the water up pulling the kids on the tube :(

We didn't make it to LV today, but hope to be out there tomorrow before 9 around Shady Shores. Looks like we'll be on the east side with a E-NE wind

Just got this email from the town of Flo Mo:
Due to low lake levels, the Flower Mound Parks and Recreation Division has regretfully closed the boat ramp at Twin Coves Park until further notice

Silver lake was open last weekend but that ramp is the worst in the metroplex, half was open, and it is a wreck. (Kept my boat there until a few months ago.). Will be trying Katie's woods today.
