has anyone ever added a ladder to the swim deck of their boat? I'm looking to maybe add one for aiding people in gettin in and out of the boat when trailered. wehave an area where there is no dock to walk out on..

Never seen it on a ski/wake boat. Seems like it would really be in the way.

Just fill your ballast, with those 1100's full in the back your platform should pretty much act like a step, lol!

I was thinking of an undermount one on the regular surf side since we all are goofy footers... and this is for when the bost is on the trailer.

Interesting. Why do people need to get in the boat while on the trailer, just so people don't have to get in the water to get on the boat? You must have some people join you that maybe just physically can't step up on the fender and over the edge of the boat or something. Not judging, just trying to imagine why one might need such a thing.

Honestly, if that's all you're using it for and it's never for use in the water, I would just bring a folding step ladder of some type with you. I can't imagine mounting something to my boat for that purpose. You could even leave it in the boat while trailering and then put it in your tow vehicle once you get to where you're going.

What about a simple like rope ladder type thing that you just hook on to the rear eye hooks when in use, then unhook and fold up and store when not in use? Might not be stable enough though.

That is pretty slick, and stored above the wakeplate where it probably doesnt matter. I guess I vote for that same design right there instead of my idea!

Probably can use in the water too if it locks in place at that angle.
