Working in St Paul Need Input

I will be working in St. Paul for a month. I will be staying on east 5th st. If anyone has any good places to eat or see let me know. I was up their last year and stayed near Mall of America. Any input would be great.

Ahh.. the land of square pizza and walleye. Some suggestions, wsome of which are touristy:

Mickeys Diner
Tea/Drinks at the St Paul Hotel
Punch PIzza
Taven on Grand

There is some bar which sells hot dogs and gives out stickers which says virgin, but I can not recall the name of it now. If the fair is in town, Holy Crap there is good food on a stick. I would suggest Sweet Marthas Cookies

State fair starts near the end of the month and stops around labor day.

Holy crap I miss those cookies. Back in the day, you could get all your can drink milk for .50 and then 10k calories worht of cookies for $10. <sigh>
