Well I bought the boat about 3 weeks ago. It's a 2002 moomba mobius lsv 195 hours when bought (215 when leaving the lake today) boat has ran great. The stereo that came in it when I got it was gay. I fixed that. Two 800.4 exiles power 4 xm9's while the new javelin amp pushes Infiniti 612m's that came with the boat as well as an exile 12. All being driven by an exile zld. I wired it all in and will post pics of the amps and stuff later. But took it to the lake today and it is LOUD. This is my second build using exile and the first boat was 2 xm9's 6 cabins and a 12 from exile with a harpoon a 800.4 and a 1500.1, I think this setup takes the cake. Exile never fails to amaze me.

Edit: I'd still like to know how people put lights in the xm9's, I mean I got an idea on how to do it, but would like to see other people's first and see if I want to go through with it.

With xm9, you can take the front grill off and put leds in there. Contact brian at exile, he might provide you more info on that.

I put RGBs inside the grilles of my XM9s. You'll have to drill a hole in the pod for a connector.

Here are some pics...

Connector in the pod (this was during a color change from blue to lime, and I switched to black connectors)

Here are the plugs I used;

As with all the LEDs in my boat, I used SMD 5050 RGBs - they are much brighter than the 3528s.

That is sick. Is it just the strip led that you cut to the length you need?

Thanks! Yes, I bought 16' cut to length, and soldered the plugs to the ends. Pretty easy project.

Same here! I'm yet to find the need for any more loudness! Yesterday we were just chillin in the boat at the cliffs with the cabins off and just the 2 xm9s at half way and even the ppl on the bank were dancing along to some songs!

On another note: having an EQ with the ability to control towers and cabins separately is priceless! A must have in my opinion

Here is a pic of my amps, was a tight fit but got them set in there and wired up, now that they are wired all you can see are the 6 RCA's coming off the javelin. The picture I posted doesn't have the wires ran. Couldn't seem to find one with them all ran. Ill have to get one.

N2 - Nice clean looking install. I havent been on the site in awhile since work, travel and boating has been so crazy. Logged on today and saw your post. Looks really good. I'm curious on your feedback with the Javelin amplifier. From the looks of it, your one of the earlier installs. Which sub do you have it powering? And hows the overall sub power? Always fun to see what people think in the real world.

I'm pretty sure you'll see XM9's at the moomba Jam. I know a boat that is rocking a six pack of Xm9's.

I think I speak for all (at least most) forum members when I say that we are still awaiting pics of this "fitness" pole in action!

Thank you! I'd be lying if I told you for sure which sub it is, but it is an exile, ill look tonight when I get home. I want to say its the mid level 12 y'all have. The javelin works great and flawless. I love it. It rocks the cabins and the sub like a champ!

I think I might make it down there for the moomba supra jam!
