Less than six weeks until the 2013 USA Wake Surf National Championship which are being hosted in my home state! Registration is full and all the best athletes are competing.

There will be plenty of exciting beach front activities for all spectators so invite your friends to come join the fun. The venue is awesome and the spectator viewing area is the best that you could possible get for a wake surfing event. Check out the web page for more pictures of the venue. Would be awesome if you could, but it's being held on Lake Las Vegas and I don't think you can have a powerboat on the lake. Centurion must've gotten a special exemption for the event.

At Lake Las Vegas, power boats and jet ski rentals are not available to keep the water pristine and noise levels down. However, Lake Mead has two marinas within 30 minutes with jet ski, patio boats, power boat and water ski rentals available. I was there a few years ago just after the casino/hotel closed up and it was a ghosttown. I know there's been a resurgence out there, but think there's still 2 of the 3 golf courses closed and lots of great deals on foreclosures. lots of grass on the banks to watch the action tho.
doubtful centurion had to work real hard at a permit to hold the event. any publicity out there is welcome right now as they try to build the area back up again. lots of people got good deals on properties there in the last 2-3 years.

Ok, this is only a week away! We at the Pull Watersports crew are getting a big group of people to come down to this and show support for Team Wolfe! Who all is planning on going to this event?

Can't ever find anyone out here to ride or hang out on the lake and can't even explain how excited I am for Worlds to finally be out here! Lake Las Vegas has come back to life a little bit, finally starting to get some more people out there! Let me know if you are planning to come out and I'd love to meet up, if your not bringing a boat you are MORE THAN WELCOME to spend the day on mine!!!

The girls had planned to ride both Outlaw Surf & Skim. Unfortunately, the women this year have either moved up to the pro division or have chosen to ride in Amateur which has forced the organizers to simply have a single Women's Outlaw division and the girls can compete on either skim or surf.

Reservations booked at Callaway Gardens Resort for Friday and Saturday night. Turned out that the wife has to be in Hilton Head, Sc for work on Friday so we will be arriving late on Friday night (Charlotte to Hilton Head to Callaway). Glad this is all working out and can't wait to see all the talent at Nationals.
