I bought a 1998 mobius, its my first inboard and I whant to buy a spare prop but I wonder whats the propeller shaft diameter and the best pitch.

An impeller would be a better investment. if you take out a prop you will need more than just a new one IMHO.
I'm sure your dealer would know or someone here will know the OEM and what you need.

Rosh, I hate to say but I agree with SD2, you really need to replace that impeller. My suggestion is for you to call Discount inboard marine and they can tell you the prop size and suggest the correct prop for you. I ordered mine along with a prop puller for a very good price. While you are at it go ahead and order 2 impellers that way you can replace the one you have and you will also have a spare.

Rosh, the shaft on your boat is a 42" long by 1" dia. double tapered shaft. The original prop. for your boat is a 13x13x1" left hand 3blade. There are many different variations of that size prop. The 13x13x1" 4 blade works well with that boat also. Brian Raymond
