With the wake plate down 75% I can easily screw the light in. With the plate up at 6% it touches the light. My wake plate stops at 6%. At 9% there is clearance. Not sure how much as I really need someone else to push the lever as I watch

I could probably screw the light in at 50%.

My ram is centre on the plate so I suppose it will interfere with broadcast and the light will reflect off the top of the wake plate

No , I got lucky. Supra 09 21 v plug n play.

Pros. At 18 mph and up it looks friggin awesome. At 9-13 looks ok 13-18 looks good.

Cons. It sucks at stationary and idle.

I was very disappointed backing out of my boat port but when I brought it up to speed it was very cool
I will await the families view but I think it will be positive. I just hope that plate up does not break it. I will post more when I get someone to help me

This is just the one drain plug light. The photos are taken standing on the sun pad. The clearance to the wake plate is the biggest issue as the bulb is so big. It appears as tho it just cleared on my boat But my wake plate moves very little between down an up and I'm not sure if it is ok in the up position. Wake plate mounting is the key issue here

Looks like the smaller Drain Plug might be solution for wake plate issue.

If you mean a drain plug extension .... No that will make it worse as the bulb will extend further out The best would be a faux drain plug you could mount above the drain plug to screw this into and only have to drill a hole for the power wire. That would be choice

I really liked the pix. .I have SeaDoo and can put 2 lights. . I put one to test it but never got a chance to go out at night. .

I'm wondering if I put 2 of those behind my boat. .. it's gonna look freaking awesome

that look to be a much "slimmer" light housing and may work as the other was very close, but I couldn't get it aligned with the drain plug threads as the outer housing hit the hinge.

Doc, I didn't have anyone in the boat to assist either and was sitting attempting this while sitting on a float in the water. I don't think the angle of the plate was my issue with installation though.

Drew, let me know if you wanna give one more shot. I'll be back in town tomorrow.
Or we can work on the slimmer one. .

Drew , I couldn't get mine to line up and screw in with the wake plate up as the glass was hitting the plate. With the plate down it gave me clearance Then once screwed all the way in the glass bulb just touches when in the up position

The actual hinge is no where close to the metal housing on the light with my boat.

Here's the pix I took last night around 9:30 when I was loading my boat. .I think red reflection is due to trailer light or my daughter has set my phone to take purple pix lately. ..

My 3 years old started getting cranking so we couldn't stay late and take good pix...

That one looks no bigger than a std drain plug so I would guess it wouldn't cause any issues at all.
