Working on a CAD drawing of a piece to go into the big black space between the speakers in the cabin. I was thinking Mobius in the big space, and LSV in the small space.

Would look cool. I have a file with the letters in the right font if you want it. Just send me a PM with your email address.

I used Mosque, but modified the "s" since it didn't match. If you have a better font, let me know.

Masque is the right font, you just have to play with the scale.

If you do it with Moomba I'd be interested. What is the cost looking like?

Well I want to do them so that they fit every boat, and we could do a group order. If we all agree on Moomba on the long side, It would be much cheaper for us to order in a batch. Tool setup and programming costs are less if there are multiple pieces cut.

How about Moomba on one side and LSV or OBV on the other?

This looks distorted, but it is rotated to show the 3D detail. It is spot on from the front. 6061 aluminum, .025 thick, letters raised .025, and a .004 chamfer on the edges.

Looks good,Moomba and LSV or OBV is the way to go,while your playing around with it, any way that could get cut to maybe backlight that thing LOL, would look awesome but would be happy with the logo to fill that space.

I already did. I have the masque font in a file somewhere. Actually, I think it's three different files depending on what you use.

On my LSV the "LSV" on the back is a different font than the "MOOMBA" on the side. I would personally prefer the font of the LSV, it looks better IMO

Sorry guys, I havent lost interest, I have been busy.

I like many of the suggestions, and am now considering getting this logo cut.

17848

My idea is to have the black part laser cut or water-jetted out of aluminum, and epoxy the letters to a lexan oval.

This would allow back-lighting.

I will have a price early next week.

As for the small side? Any suggestions?

That logo is outdated now, I think. Better off going with a classic like the Roo. LLTR!!!!!!!!

the Marketing Director for SC, Amy Mauzy, told me that logo has been retired.

Call me ignorant, but I cannot figure out where you guys are talking about. Where would this go?

I guess what is confusing me is "cabin". Do you mean the front bow?

No. Under the gunwales below where the tower mounts.

Now that's funny! Wonder how a thread on this forum was getting three pages deep before the smack talk started!!!

But be nice to the people that own DDs;

It maybe their first boat
They may be scared of wakeboards
Just plain old?
Can't load a V-drive on the trailer
Couldn't find a jet drive that would hold a cooler

OK, everybody play nice. DD folks have their place. They just need to be reminded from time to time where it is. :o

Just cause vdrive folks are always looking for more bling instead of more buoys don't mean we can't all get along.

So my hookup on a machinist is gone. I had a guy who used to work for me who was gonna cut the pieces for free. I was gonna have him cut some for whoever wanted them.

He took a job out of the shop and now works out in the field.

After looking closely, I figured out the stock decals on the boat would fit (LSV was within 1/16'') so I ordered a set.

Here's the result. I am gonna remove the decals from the hull. (just the Mobius LSV ones)
