Called Earmark Audio and I can only say they provide the best customer service I have dealt with! I bought the Exile XM9 tower speakers, amps, and sub. I also saved some money by using a coupon code the CSR gave me! They are a great group to deal with! Can't wait to get installed... I will post pics when it is installed.

K Riley,
Thank you and that's always nice to hear.
Odin, who I assume you dealt with and administrates the on-line store, can be a great help to you during the installation process. Odin has the largest industry library of installation instructional documents, schematics and illustrations, with well over 75 proprietary documents and growing....including comprehensive noise elimination and trougle shooting guides for down the road. His knowledge is off the charts. If fact, Odin also does live sound engineering in the evenings and is a system tuning specialist!

I'm really torn with this thread and the OP. Hes a new poster, and he is saying he is buying new XM9s, amp and a Sub from Earmark?

Earmark isn't even an Exile Retailer anymore.

I'm all for people buying Exile don't get me wrong but time and time again Earmark has shown they Push Wet Sounds as the brand to have and i just don't see this is a true statement.

Not only do i have my Boots on in this thread i am wearing my respirator.

I gotta say I had similar thoughts in regards to the exile/ earmark deal. Maybe it was some old stuff left sitting around?

Certainly don't mean to rain on the OP's parade, if its legit...

Mmandly and highrider - I understand your doubt -The tower speakers (XM9) where on the clearance tab (had a scuff on one speaker - where displays) you can look it up - shows none in stock since I bought the last they had - Got them for a little over $500 per pair - It is also shown in the tab as well. As for the Amp - it is a XD700/5 and the sub is a 10w3v3-2 The tower speakers are Exile the amp is JL as well as the sub....
You can take your boots off - Only wear your resp. if you think you fell back into it.... gotta love the welcome to the Moomba group - Might pay to research before calling one a liar.... I don't even know why I am defending myself here...

Weird...

Either way, great choice on the xm9s! That's what I run and they are PLENTY loud!!!

Edit: guess we posted at the same time. Don't take the welcome the wrong way. This forum has a "sensitive area", being the Audio Department! It's nothing personal to you! You could've posted on any other topic and got a GREAT Welcoming... Audio, not so much lol

No problem guys. Anytime we need some Exile stuff to sell we just go down to the local swop meet and pick a few up.

I will have the audio installed next week (hopefully the speakers and all will arrive) and I will take some pics! I need to figure out where to put the Sub - any ideas??

Sure. If you have a mid decade '04 to '07 Moomba LSV for example, then the height underdash is more limited than a Supra for instance. If I recall your boat correctly, you can fit a sub enclosure over the top of the driver's hump but it is tight. A tight fit, a tight insertion and you have to watch that a side-firing woofer/surround isn't making contact under excursion with various cables. Like I said, it is tight. Your particular woofer requires a .675 gross internal enclosure (.625 net after driver displacement). That's very compact. You can get about 10% smaller by loosely filling the enclosure with polyester fiberfill. You can get a 1/4" smaller in each dimension by using .625" stock versus .75".
As an alternative you can build a wedge shaped enclosure that rests and mounts on the angled hump face surface. In any case, you want the sub/enclosure under the driver's dash.
When your installer takes a look at things, and if he needs some assistance before building the enclosure, get with Odin who has some applicable enclosure illustrations.

Somehow I was under the impression that you have a different Moomba. If you will shoot photos at various perspectives of your underdash area, and send these to Odin, and determine whether you have the removable hump, he can give you several build options and illustrations for your installer.

13 should have a removable flat kick panel with the steering cable directly behind it..

I mounted a sealed sub to that panel and moved it slightly forward to get the room I needed..
