Landed my first 360 surfing. In one pull, I landed 3 in succession, but felt strangely comfortable doing them. I got close once on a skim board, but for some reason the surf-style felt much easier. Wave looks kind of crappy except in the last 10 seconds, it was the same wave all day so it must be camera angle and lighting.

Looks pretty sweet the entire time, it could very well just be the water man, maybe a little more chop early on but non the less you got her dialed in noice!!!

Sweet! Looks like there's nothing to it. Any advice?

I surprised myself a bit with how easily the board came around. I had a really hard time trying this on a skim board, but I see others do it all the time. I have to figure out what I'm doing right so that I can repeat it consistently. Next time out, I'll probably not be able to do another one!

I've only had 2 attempts this season. Not getting out much so far.

That's 2 more than me! Not counting the polar bear run in January...

Mike- you make it look pretty easy there!

It's a standard thruster setup from Idol Surfboards www.idolsurf.com but I'm only using the two outside fins.

I'm just using this one until mine is done. It will be the same shape but have the twinzer fin setup. I've ridden a few of their boards and the one I'm getting rivals the Flyboy board without the ridiculous price tag.

I like the guys from idol very much and the boards I've been able to see & touch look first rate. I'd like to add one to my quiver one day soon. But, the Flyboy is first rate too and it's often in the hands of the riders standing on the podium.

You can snag a Flyboy for $849 from Towanza.com. When I price out a similar idol from their website and select a custom board with color, carbon rails and quad fin setup, it returns a price of $774. Some might define that as "ridiculous."

btw I think it has Dakine traction on it if that matters. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between traction a, b, or c, or wax d, e, or f, but a lot of people can.

Someone's been a good boy!

James walker signature model and an IdolSurf 4'7" twinzer. Rode both this weekend and love them both.
