We tried using our prefect pass today and had no luck. We set it to different mph and none seem to work. Here are some pics. Does anyone know things I can try or see anything wrong? I don't really know much about it, but I'm pretty good at repair and etc. Thanks

Here's a pic of the module under the dash also.

IDK my first thought is that picutre shows the unit OFF, it needs to say ON on that screen.

THen make sure you have a 12V at the module, then voltage at the thottle controler. Also check grounds, and see if you have a fuse for the unit.

It turns on fine....I can set the mph and the display seems to work just fine. It just keeps accelerating past the set mph. I've tried resetting it but no luck. Any other suggestions? I think everything seems to be getting power just fine.

Did you go to their web site? There's a bunch of troubleshooting documentation and videos. If those don't help, call them. They're very knowledgeable and helpful. I had an issue a few weeks ago. After I went though everything online I called them up and they figured the problem in 5 minutes. I ended up getting a new cpu chip. Put it in and everything was fine.

I'm gonna do the servo motor test. It's gonna be hard for me to call them if they are only open M-F. We usually don't get on the water until Friday evening around 5:30 and out on the water all day Saturday's. I may call them from work just to see what they think anyway or any advise.

Must be a PerfectPass issue year. I have a 2004 Mobius and am having the same symptoms / issues. I will also look at the web site mentioned above. I have had my boat 3 years and have worked with or fixed about everything else but never had an issue with Perfect Pass. I also have all the controls acting like they are working but the cruise never grabs the throttle. I do get the one beep when I hit the speed but never takes over. Let me know if anyone finds a solution.

Thanks!

It's your raw servo motor. I called and talked to perfect pass....very helpful. I bet if you do the servo motor test it won't tighten your cable. It's $139 for a new one. My wife won't let me order one since I just ordered 2 750lbs sacs from wakemakers. Bummer I'll have to wait. I miss having perfectpass :(

You can take apart the motor and fix it easily.. They have the info on the website.. I've fixed mine several times..

Protip... Move the unit or make a shield to keep the motor dry.. :D

the pull string/ cable that the servo motor wraps up might be broken

Or just twisted/bound up.
