My wife loves wakeboard, and she and my son can do pretty well behind our LSV. We have 750 in the lockers, and a bag in the center so I think we have an "ok" wake.

I am looking for advice on a board that can handle the whole family. Weight would be 120-220. All of us are beginners. I assume I want a surf style over a skim style given the upper weight class. Any suggestions on boards to try or avoid?

Thanks in advance!

If you're going up to 220 you better get the big Broadcast.

I learned on the smaller Broadcast just fine and I'm between 210 and 220. Out grew it quick though. I might be up for selling it too if you are interested.

I live in downtown Raleigh and ride Harris lake regularly. I have a 5'6" hyperlite broadcast that I've been debating about selling. If you're interested, I'll part with it for $150. It's in really good condition and it was great to learn on.

Anyone have experience with the Ronix Koal? There are several well priced over at evo?

I (240#'s) have the 5'-6" Koal, wife (much less #'s) and I both ride it no problem.
