Good - Weather was perfect, surfed all day on my day off, water was glass. Oh, and got to pull professional wakeboarder Austin Hair for a warm up this morning before he headed up to Norman for qualifying round of wake competition.

Great - My wife arranging for us to have front row seats to the quarter final round of tomorrow's wake competition on Lake Norman. We will be riding in the tow boat for this round 10-1. Video and pictures to follow.

Tow boat was the brand new Mastercraft Xstar. Talking with the riders after the round, nobody was impressed with the wake. Curled over and never looked super clean. They were loaded at approximately 6000 lbs running 23.5 mph.

That's all I could say. Funny listening to the judges after each run rip them apart.

That's some cool stuff right there. Man sounds like that MC was really huffing and puffing to push 6k extra weight through the turns. That had to be deafening for the riders. How was the engine noise in the boat?

It was loud but nothing a good stereo couldn't fix. Lol. He was definitely wide open to keep on plane thru turn. Once thru the turn it mellowed out.
