I have a 2013 OBV and love the sun deck walk over; however, that molded textured glass gets extremely slippery.....especially towards the rear of the boat where the texturing stops and slopes down at a 45 degree angle. I have already had a few falls due to this.

I spoke to my dealer about it and they said they have contacted SC about placing a Seadek pad on the walk over but have not heard anything back about it.

Has anyone placed a Seadek pad on the walk over or know if a template has been made for it? If not I will need to get it templated and a pad made for the walk over that matches the swim platform.

I've made a template and am working on it with SeaDek (aka, its sitting on my desk waiting to be shipped so they can cut me a pad to match the custom platform pad I am having made)

Ian you are saving the day once again for a bunch of us.

In the month we have had the boat we have had our share of slips and falls on that thing.

Thanks

I knew he'd be all over that with Seadek before long.

Should have known Ian was or had done it already.

I think for future questions I will just PM him before I post a question ....the odds are he will have the answer.

Rather see you post it so everyone can benefit like you did here. Force Ian to share! :)

I will just a joke about Ian's ongoing upgrading and engineering persistence.

I would and will always post on the forum for all to hopefully benefit from.

Well, Ian is one of those guys likes to plan, build, document, perfect, then share. But, we like to make him show the process as he's doing it. Screw the "unveiling". Show us the dirty part.
