Been outside working today and just not getting to really see what happened today in the OKC area. I have a few friends up there in OK and I know that there are a few forum members that live up that way, ya'll stay stay and lets keep those affected and the families of those lost in our prayers as this clean up effort continues. What devastation.

Same here. I had to turn off the news when they started talking about the elementary school. Too much for me.

Heartbroken about the events over the last 2 days and we still have one more day. I have a few friends who survived in the Moore area but lost their houses and 1 is a pastor that lost their church and house. Overall the Tulsa area has gone relatively untouched. I started my day yesterday in the Stillwater area and at 5:00 in the morning you could tell the forecasters were right on with the predictions. 0500hrs close to 80 degrees and somewhere around 95% humidity. Still dark but walk outside and start sweating almost immediately. I spent the day zigzagging back across to the Tulsa area trying to stay ahead if the storms. Get back to the area just as a tornado gets down in Skiatook area just north of Tulsa.

As I'm typing this I'm pulled over in Mcalester area watching a severe t-storm pass north of me as I try to make it back to Tulsa today. Thankfully so far temps and humidity are staying much lower.
