Awesome! That's what we do. Be prepared to scrub that hull if you leave it in for more then a couple weeks

Good choice! We've kept our Outback in the water every year for the last 5 and it still looks brand new. I think you'll find you use it waaaaaay more when you don't have to screw around with towing, launching, etc.

Clean tips;
Pull it out every month, full vinegar bath and power wash, lots of wax.

In the water; use a rag to wipe down the water line whenever you are out and it will keep it looking great!

Sweet! We love having our boat on a lift and probably wouldn't use, maybe even have a boat, if we had to do the stow & tow every wkend.

Ian, did you use regular wax or one of the polymer ones like the Boat Candy we had the group buy on?

parrothd, not to scare you, but make sure you pull the boat out every once in a while and examine the bottom for blistering. I had a Monterey that I left in the water for a season a number of years back. I left it in the water for about 5 months without pulling it out. When I finally pulled it out of the water it was covered with slime obviously but it also had gel coat blisters all over the bottom.

If your not familiar with this its water that get absorbed into the gel coat then trapped there. You need to scrape off the entire bottom of the boat and recoat it which means $$$$$$$$$$$$.

I dont know if the Monterey had the same type of materials as the Moomba but I would just make sure to take a look at it every once in a while. While having the boat in the water is super nice I worry about having the same issues.
Just something to look out for, not saying it will happen but ..............

Here is what gel coat blisters look like

Previously I used regular wax. With the new boat I'm trying the sprays to see if it works as well. So far I like em!

Nice. I'd like to know if you see any difference between the two types.

I'm talking specifically about the polymer sprays like Boat Candy

There are also wet/dry spray detail waxes I've used from Babes

Meguirers and others have similar products.
