Sae 30 ?

In the process of changing my v drive oil, just realized the oil I purchases was non detergent sae 30 API SA. It's a red color unlike I would expect. Is this oil acceptable to use for the Vdrive.

V-drive manual says SAE 30 heavy duty non-detergent while the boat manual says SAE 30. I have always used regular 30 wt HD in my 05 without any issues.
