Insurance is buying me a new rack!

I have an 04 LSV. The racks were mounted on the middle horizontal cross bar. Apparently they do not make these anymore so insurance said they would pay for two new racks. On the stock rack it would hold my wakeboard and my hyperlite surf board. I want my new racks to be able to do this also, any thoughts on what racks to ask for?

Why is insurance ponying up - did I miss something?

I'd say it depends on what you want to carry. Standard board racks will carry most skim style wakesurfs and I guess whatever would qualify as a hybrid. If you are going to go to a thicker surf style board you may want a combo rack with a wider jaw on one of them.

At the end of last season a storm broke my lift and it damaged to boat a little. It scratched up the gel coat and tore up the cover and snapped off one of the racks.
