Aight guys, here goes... I tried to keep tabs on all the links to products I used and to the links of other threads with good info on each topic!!

I'll start with the removal of the factory decals!
All I used was a hair dryer and my fingernail. Boat was stored out side for 4 years and the side that never saw the sun came off no problem and left no discoloration. The other side saw the sunrise every morning and the decal was sun dried to the boat pretty good. I used everything I could find with no luck and I didn't want to wait on ordering a 3M Adhesive Eraser Wheel (which would've saved me 3 hours), but it all finally came off with persistence. Afterwards, gave her 2 Compound buffs and 1 good coat of wax!

While waiting on the boat to get here I had already done some researching on here for a few things that I knew I would need.
1) Ballast Upgrade
Got 2 of these with the 1100lb bags, then picked up parts 33030 and 33049 to use on the factory 400lb bags
http://www.wakemakers.com/supra-and-moomba-750-rear-upgrade.html
http://www.wakemakers.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=33049
http://www.wakemakers.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=33030
2) Board Racks
http://shop.monstertower.com/p-141-pivoting-wakeboardsurfboard-rack-blackbrhurry-low-inventory.aspx
These are a little big for our towers but with a small rubber shim to fill the gap, PERFECT (can't beat the price)
https://forum.moomba.com/showthread.php?16311-Monster-tower-racks-pics
3) Cooler Removal was EASY with a dremel and dremel tool 561! Be sure to lay down a garbage bag or something to save a nasty clean up of fiberglass shavings. Have a partner hold a shop vac close to you while cutting and it will help tremendously!

Now for the LEDs...
In case anybody else wanted to change out their dash lights... I used the same lights on my 2004 Outback and they worked on the 08 LSV... FYI prepare to twist/torque/cram your upper body in the craziest ways to get up under that dash with a pair of pliers haha
WLED-x6: 194 LED Bulb - 6 LED Wedge Base WLED-B6: Blue

I went with the cup holder LEDs from Ozinum
12 x Prewired Superflux 4 Chip LEDs - Blue
http://www.oznium.com/prewired-superflux
Then I went with 5 x Flexible LED Strips - Blue, 9.5 Inch from Ozinum
http://www.oznium.com/led-flex-strips
The lights may not look too bright due to all the outside light coming in from the boat stall doors not being completely shut. I have LEDs in all the cup holders except under the driver's dash because I have a strip there and one under the captain's chair facing back across the open area to the other side of the boat. I also put a strip in the glove box and inside the Observer's seat back, which helps when getting stuff out of the boat at night.

I'm still waiting on my ACME 1617 prop to get here and I'll be almost done!!! yeaaa right.. haha

I have a couple extra cup holder lights that I was going to put in place of the courtesy lights, but I couldn't really figure out how to get that little cover off and I didn't want to break it... Is there a trick to replacing those bulbs??? The inside is covered with carpet so I assume the cover comes off from the outside, but It seemed to be pretty sealed to me and didn't want to just POP off....

Wow - nice work all around. I guess I'm going to have step up my game with the impending rebuild and photographic proof...

I can't cut out my cooler though - there's too much beer in it most of the time.

Berg - thanks and when we go out there's about 6-8 of us every trip so we would probably have a better result just turning the opposite surf side into a massive cooler instead!!!! (Now there's an idea) 😎

Moombadaze - yea I really think taking the decals off definitely makes the boat look bigger, plus cleaner!
And yea I was so busy looking at the diameter of the braces that I didn't even notice racks were wakeboard/surfboard (thick one) rather than wakeboard/wakeboard! That's all the reason I needed to start looking for a nicer, thicker style surfboard.... 😜

Tgoody - Contacted Monster, and they were no help. I see that the forks mount to an oval bar. Is that bar the same size and dimension of the oval crossbar on your tower? I was thinking about buying the racks just for the forks.

Thanks

At first I didn't understand what you meant, but yes if you didn't want the swivel attachment you should be able to just mount the Black Monster Racks to the oval part of your Moomba Tower. I will go over to the storage tonight and measure both oval bars and see if they are the same size!
Either way it's not going to be such a big difference that you couldn't shim them to fit...

I measured the oval bars and they are exactly the same! Should work perfect for ya, just remember those racks are for a wakeboard and a thicker style surfboard! I'm looking at some rubber tubing to slide over the top fork to fill the gap until I find a thicker surf board! 😁

KG - Thanks

In a pinch those pool noodle things with a hole through the middle will work temporarily and there are different thicknesses. Only cost a couple bucks.

Jstenger - no prob man

Berg - I like your style! I just happen to have a spare PINK noodle that would go great right there! Thanks for the quick fix! Should work perfect while the search still continues for another board!

Got my Acme 1617 prop in yesterday and had some time after work today to put it on!!

Here's a very informative write up for Props:
https://forum.moomba.com/showthread.php?t=15139

You don't really need any tools other than a wrench, pliers, and a portable torch to heat up the area where the shaft meets the prop (slides right off)!
Careful when you go to loosening up that nut tho... I was given 'er hell, then she quickly busted loose, slamming my knuckle right into the prop!!!! SONNN OF A.... I almost cried 😭

Yeaaaaa let me tell you something bout that prop.... My buddy that usually wakeboards with me jumped up in the driver's seat this wknd (forgetting about the new prop) and I had just finished strapping in on the swim deck. I said hey throw it in gear real quick while I throw this rope out. I stood up and turned back around... Next thing i know the boat takes off, sending me right in the water!!! He yells back at me, "Hey mannnn, I didn't do anything different than I usually do, that new prop aint playin around tho!" lol I just shook my head

Brian - Thanks, just some metal I had laying around and spray painted it with some glossy black to make it look a little nicer!

More updates/mods of the weekend

Got the XM9s up and running! These things are HUGE. Later realized I couldn't swing my board racks to the inside of the boat so I had to lower the racks, which looks better now anyway
