View Full Version : Fully Automatic ACR Switch and Dual Bank Charger

Everyone with an ACR and a dual bank charger will benefit from this. The only part needed is a 12 volt relay that can be picked up in almost any vehicle light department. They are usually used when adding fog or driving lights to a vehicle. It is shown below.

With the addition of this relay on the ground circuit of the ACR, there is no chance of the batteries combining when the boat is not running, and the charger is being used. The only exception is if there is also a battery selector switch being used. In that case, make sure that the switch is NOT in the "Both" or "Combined" position.
