I'm in Tuscaloosa but never been to Smith Lake

You need to make the trip one day,its a great lake, deep clear and very clean

That's what I hear. Lake Tuscaloosa is pretty clean too. Went out this evening as a matter of fact. Round of skiing and wakeboard. Lake averages 60 feet where I hang at. Might make that rip someday. We have driven up there and looked around but didn't take the boat

I'm not from the area, but we come up there a couple times a year. It's one of my favorite lakes.

I want be back up till next weekend 9,10,and 11th last long weekend before school starts back,and your not far from us if your close to goat island,we are up by arrowhead rock where people hangout and swim and jump from the rocks

We seen some folks jumping from the rocks. That is one fine lake wish I could come more then once or twice a year.

We are towards the back of that slough where the rock is, yea we love the lake deep clean and clear

Just a heads up. I think Moombadaze and I are going to try to have a Supra/Moomba free for all meet up on Lake Martin, AL in July 2014. Maybe two or three weeks after the 4th weekend to give everyone a chance to recover. Keep your eyes out. Looking forward to seeing and meeting all of the AL and GA folks nearby!

Yes, last year we stayed in some condos very close by, place was called Stillwaters, check on VRBO.com
