Has anyone ever bought any covers from speakersoxs.com, if so, how were they or do you have any good suggestions on where to buy some

I had their covers on my first pair of tower speakers, and for both boats I have the mirror covers. They are good quality but will fade over the course of a summer or so.

I bought speaker covers from wetsounds, and I think they may be the same product, but not sure. The ones from wetsounds were heavy neoprene and were super for trailering and protection from the elements. They did not fade at all over a year of summer use, but I just got them last year and selling boat this year. THey were fairly expensive, but very high quality IMO and worth the price. FWIW.

Take a look at Beyond The Wake. I have used Speaker Sox on my last boat (they worked well with some fading) I recently ordered speaker and wake board rack covers from Beyond The Wake and they ar fantastic. Heavy duty material great quality. Dan Web is the guys name. Very helpful fast service. Getting ready to order swim deck cover from them also.

Would you mind telling me what are you talking about here? Would this go on when the boat is out of the water to protect it from the sun or is this a replacement for the OEM pad?

Tried to reply with a link. However it would not post without moderator consent... Nevertheless, yes Drew it is for protection from the elements during storage or towing. During boating season April through Oct here in TX my boat is generally exposed to the elements with the swim deck uncovered (Mojo will not fit under carport) I thought this would give me some level of proection. Check it out.

Shane,

Have you sent in your measurements yet? I'm guessing you have the surf platform that was an option in '12?

Drew,

I have not. He asked me to create a pattern with Poster board and mail the pattern to him so that it will be an exact fit. And yes, it is the surf platform and as you can imagine it would be difficult to take accurate measurements with all the variations. I will create the pattern this week. Once he has the pattern on hand it will be smooth sailing for anyone else with that style of platform.

Thanks for the info Shane.

I also have them to cover my wetsounds rev8's. i've had them for one summer and they have faded some, but are still in good shape, and protect the speakers. They are less expensive than the wetsounds brand and may not hold up as well, but in my opinion, both brands are overpriced. I think they could probably sell twice as many if they dropped the price by 50%, and would still make a hefty profit.

After thinking about and looking for other supplies, I found some more speaker covers for under $50 a pair and they come in something like 8 colors. Check this site out. I'm in no way affiliated with it, just passing along what I think may be a good deal to my Moomba friends. I think I'm going to buy the trailer post covers from here.
