So I am looking to get a new buffer, tried the one from HF and surprise....didn't work right. So after doing a little more research I think I am going to go with a Random-Orbit Polisher just because I am VERY new to this and don't want to burn or ruin anything. While looking at the Porter Cable I ran across this and wanted to know if anyone has used or heard anything about this one (good or bad). I have seen a couple things on youtube but not much else. Seems like a good deal seeing how it comes with 3 pads, 2 cloths, and a nice hard case. Any input would be helpful.

I think that's way more advanced than you need.

I use http://www.westmarine.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?productId=21789&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&storeId=11151&storeNum=50218&subdeptNum=50278&classNum=50279#.UXWu4KLqkVc and http://www.harborfreight.com/7-inch-variable-speed-polisher-sander-92623.html with a Terry Cloth Bonnets pad and then wax.
