so most of yall know last summer i hit a sunken tree in the bay, im looking to see if anyone knows a good site to pick up a 15 degree strut for my shaft. i know i can probably get it at my dealer but i want to look around and see if i can get it cheaper since half the time the dealers have the higher price

I think kaneboats got his here and was very pleased

Had to buy longer bolts due to flange thickness

That's where I got my shaft. Don't know if they have struts. I'd go with Skidim or at least start there. Are you sure it's a 15 and not a 14 or 16?

I bought a replacement strut from Elbert's after an encounter with a dead head at 8hrs on the boat.

The mounting surface is thicker but my bolts were just long enough....

ill take a look..anyone know if a different degree strut will help with my wake to be bigger?

i think it could lead to alignment issues when trying to bolt the shaft onto the transmission coupler

Elbert has saved me some coin over the years as I learned my way around the Willamette River finding rocks, funny you guys know about him!

Only if you don't want issues in the future. Your shaft angle is kind of fixed based on the motor/tranny angle, the boat fiberglass design, and the strut shaft. You would need to change/adjust all 3 for a change.

Elbert's is a all shop in rural Oregon. Luckily he was close enough for me to pick up my replacement shaft and be back on the water quickly.

Elbert's repaired my shaft. I guess it is good to be local
