View Full Version : Fat sac gurus come here

Right now I'm only having one fat sac in the locker in the middle of the boat. My concern is that I don't think that only 600 pounds is enough to make a great surfing wave.

It will sink the boat but ...

But we will always be around 3-5 people on the boat so should I worry or with the people sitting in the back it will be okay?

If not this is my other option

But will it fit in the locker in the rear of the boat (Moomba mobius lsv 09)

Thank you

750 is probably better.unless you get an ibs to weight down the bow(650lbs)the Lsv needs bow weight with a 1100 in the rear locker.

if this is your goal, you need 1,100's in the rear lockers linked to 370's under the seats (cut out the cooler on the port side) and add the IBS.

Ok so it means even if I have a 600 pounds in the middle ill need a 650 pounds bow in the front and a 1100 pounds in the back

My plan was to keep my 600 in the middle and add 1100 in the rear

Yep, same prices as eBay reseller. Might give you a break if you call Jason or spencer.

Looks like wake boy and I are planning the same thing...

This combo package has an extension tube that connects to make the hose longer... Would it be worth it and/or Necessary with the 1,100lb bag!?

In the case of filling the bag, yes it would be necessary to extend the hose for a taller bag.

That's a pretty slick, easy to use item vs replumbing it all yourself. I'd say it would be a good way to go from a simple convenience factor.

Yes i wasn't up on this part, LOL When i redid the LSV with 1100s i made all new hoses LOL. With the new reversible its a fill drain from the same port LOL.

I just bought the 1100s for my LSV and did not need any extension hose/tube. I did the bag buster upgrade for 1100s.

Be advised these are huge and take up your ENTIRE locker.

Yea that's what I'll be ordering as well, 2 of the 1100 ballast buster upgrade that comes with the hose. Did your buster upgrade not come with that hose??

E4nash should have the reversible pumps , therefore no need for extensions.

Sorry now I'm all confused so let me just straight up ask, "which 1100 bags do I need for my back ballast on my 08" haha

This
http://www.wakemakers.com/fly-high-jumbo-surf-sac.html

Or this with the extension
http://www.wakemakers.com/supra-and-moomba-750-rear-upgrade.html

Sorry for all the questions guy, but just trying to get set up before the boat gets here! If it was here I would most likely be able to answer my own questions 😞

If you have the stock pumps that came with your boat in 08 you need the one with the extension...

jmvotto

The second link provides all bags with the extension which you will need.
now the choice is a 189.00 1100#
or 149.00 750#
The extension is 29.95 pre assembled.

Hope that made sense. The aerator pumps stock on 2008 system fill from the top. You will need the extension to fill the higher point up on top of the bigger bag. Best of luck!

Awesome! And thanks guys, everybody here is full of knowledge and I've been able to find most everything else I need through older topics. That being said, Kane mentioned to me I should start a new thread when I'm done upgrading everything with all the links to different topics all in one thread which should cut down the search time for the next person so I will definitely hook that up!!!

Even better news: Got an email this morning that my 08 LSV is cleaned up, ready to go, sitting at the CTWS so looks like I'm headed to Austin in the morning!!!

PS Wakeboy, sorry for the MAJOR thread hijack, but hopefully it was all good info for you as well!

Get an IBS. Plumb it off the Ski locker sack or get a bosworth valve. I liked the bosworth valve better so I could direct the water to where I wanted.

When I put Johnson Pumps in mine, it goes:
Johnson Pump > Y-Valve (easy to access thru the locker door, works great):
https://www.wakemakers.com/bosworth-y-valve.html

1) One line to the center bag
2) One line to the front IBS bag

Both are vented
